Maldives Customs

On the import and export of foreign currency has no restrictions. All luggage is rigid customs clearance. Allowed duty-free importation of up to 200 pcs. cigarettes and to 125 ml. perfumery products, as well as goods for personal consumption within reasonable limits (no more than one item per person).

It is strictly forbidden to transport alcoholic beverages, sausage, salami, pork and produce from it, pornographic publications and drugs. Prohibited the export of black coral and products from it (except souvenirs made officially certified by the Government of the producers), production from the shell of sea turtles, as well as objects and things found on the seabed.
