Despite the tolerance and hospitality of the Jordanians, the people in this country, foreigners should follow the general rules of conduct adopted in the Muslim world. For example, women should avoid wearing too short and revealing clothes.

The consumption of alcohol on streets prohibited. In the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan should refrain from taking food and water, as well as smoking in public places.

Driving a car, you must adhere to the established speed limits. Violation of traffic rules must unquestioningly obey police demands to stop. Engage in polemics with the police is not recommended. The fine is usually issued on the spot. Attempts to negotiate a reduction in the amount of penalty may have serious consequences.
