A large number of currency exchange offices located in hotels, shops, post offices, railway stations and other independent institutions. Most banks are open from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 16.00, some of them are open on Saturdays from 9.00 to 12.30.

On weekdays, shops are open from 10.00 to 19.00 and on Saturdays - from 10.00 to 16.00. Food shops and department stores are usually open from 8.00 to 19.00. In Riga, there is also a sufficient number of grocery stores, which operate around the clock.
