Nepal Political system

Nepal Nepal - a constitutional monarchy. Head of state - King. Legislative power - bicameral Parliament (temporarily disbanded May 22, 2002), consisting of the National Council (Rashtriya Sabha, 60 seats, of which 35 are appointed by the House of Representatives, 10 - King and 15 - were elected by an electoral college) and the House of Representatives ( " Pratiniti Sabha, 205 seats, members elected for five-year term). The Government is appointed by the monarch on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. Administratively the country is divided into 14 zones (Ancha), which in turn are composed of 75 districts ( "District").
