Taking photographs is allowed only in places where there are no prohibiting signs (crossed-camera). It is forbidden to photograph objects of transport infrastructure and energy, port facilities and military sites.

Montenegrins, unlike the Serbs, extremely tolerant and manifestations of ethnic differences, even to the question of inter-ethnic conflicts in the Balkans. But to talk about politics or about the various aspects related to the collapse of Yugoslavia, is not recommended. The crime rate is relatively low. Police harshly repress any manifestation of cheating foreign tourists, but at the household level, there are frequent cases of fraud or petty allegedly suddenly appeared a language barrier, and therefore should be particularly careful when discussing financial issues, and never to give money in advance, before providing services.
