Sights Torremolinos, Spain

Coastal zone Torremolinos stretched for 10 kilometers. When viewed from the sea, it can be divided into three parts: La Kariuela and Montemar, Bahondilo, Playamar.

District La Kariuela (La Carihuela) is in place once the fishing village of the same name existed. Low houses, narrow streets, cozy restaurants, a provincial atmosphere - a very nice place. On the pedestrian promenade in the small fish restaurants - chiringito - you will brand sardines grilled on charcoal fire. At the western end of Quay lead you to the yacht port: it is possession of a neighboring resort - Benalmádena.

Mostly rock separates La Kariuela from Bahondilo (Bajondillo). It goes along the beach road, there are many shops and restaurants. Bahondilo becomes Playamar (Playamar) - District buildings. Soon it will connect with the waterfront of Malaga.

On the hill above Bahondilo is the center of Torremolinos. Perpendicular to the embankment rises up the hill pedestrian street of San Miguel - "Old Arbat" Torremolinos - until late at night filled with tourists. San Miguel rests on the streets of Palma de Mallorca - the central artery of the city. The area around the intersection of these streets and adjoining side streets and is the center of the resort, where the compactly arranged all the necessary facilities to tourists, including cereal, as well as the local "underground" - a hidden underground train stop is Malaga-Fuengirola. San Miguel Street passes the old mill tower, once gave the name of the city.

On the northern outskirts of the city there is an aqua park - more interesting than similar entertainment in Fuengirola. Next to him - crocodile farm.

On the waterfront Bahondilo can find a beautiful building - the Casa de las Navajas. It is not an antique (1925), but most noticeable in Torremolinos. The former private villa is now owned by the city administration.
