Tossa de Maar - one of the most picturesque resorts in Costa Brava. This typically Spanish town located in a beautiful bay on the coast. Near the beach overlook the ancient walls of the medieval fortress that became the hallmark of the city. The wide beach is bordered by jagged cliffs, where sea cliffs form the deep grottos and secluded coves, drawing in their possession dreamers, romantics, and researchers of the underwater world.

Near the town beach is one of the most famous national monuments Costa Brava, the medieval fortress town of Vila Velha. Almost all of the perimeter walls, as well as most of the road guard survived to this day.

From the fortress offering breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding neighborhood, and many restaurants and cafes located along the path to the castle, invites everyone to relax, listen to the passion-filled Spanish motifs and sample delicious local delicacies. Houses standing on the narrow streets of the old city, still belong to descendants of fishermen, who for many years lived in Tossa. Not far from Vila Velha you can see the remains of a Roman settlement dating from the 4th century.
