Holidays Vietnam: 1 January (New Year), April 30 (Day of Liberation of South Vietnam), May 1 (International Labor Day). The main national holiday - Independence Day - celebrated on September 2. The most popular festival of "Tet (Lunar New Year in lunar calendar), usually falls in late January - early February (4 day weekend).
