Croatia Holidays and Festivals Croatia:
• February: Carnival in Rijeka, Samobor and other cities.

• August: "Sinska Alka" - a traditional colorful tournament sinskih heroes in honor of the victory over the Turks on August 15 1715. Held annually since 1715. Riders compete in three-meter accuracy of hitting a spear in a small metal ring, "alku.
• September / October: Festival of Baroque Music in the churches and palaces, the Varazdin.
