Marianske Lazne - the second largest Czech balneological resort, which is considered the largest and most beautiful city park in the Czech Republic, located on the southern outskirts of the Nightingale of the forest. Mineral springs were discovered here in the XVI-th century. The resort is surrounded by woods with numerous tourist paths leading to health centers, monuments and other interesting sights.

Sources named "Ushovitskie" later "Teplá" - under the name of the monastery, to which they belonged. And only in 1808 founded the monastery town Marianske Lazne. In 1866 the settlement became a town.

Successful urban planning decision of Marianske Lazne has managed to combine the architecture of buildings, parks, and around the city in a unique, impressive and harmonious whole. All this together with the healing powers of mineral springs and the climate of the place contributes to the fact that the city is often called the "pearl" of European resorts.
