Temperate, transitional from maritime to continental: along the Baltic coast - the sea, away from the sea - closer to the moderate-continental. The average temperature in January -4-7 C, in July +15-17 C. The precipitation is 700 mm. per year, mostly in the autumn-winter period (end of summer and often rainy). Due to the influence of marine air masses rather changeable weather, and can often change several times per day, especially in spring and autumn.
