Recommended vaccinations for fever and malaria prevention. The risk of contracting malaria, mainly in the severe form (P. falciparum), exists in the northern areas and in areas Otzhodzondzhupa and Omaheke from November to June. There exists a danger of contracting schistosomiasis (should avoid swimming in the local freshwater), and there is some risk of crocodile attack. Also present are natural foci of hepatitis. When traveling to the hinterlands recommended to have a serum against the bite of snakes and scorpions (usually they are packaged kits included in the mandatory equipment conductors). High levels of HIV-infected.
