Geilo Ski Resort (old name - Yaylo) is deservedly known as one of the best in Northern Europe, due to the level and offered a unique combination of winter recreation. It is also called the "City of mountaineering - the first in Norway ski competitions were held right here in 1935. The resort is compact: on both sides of the valley are lifts Geilo Taubane, Vestlia Ski Center and Slaatta Ski Center. Perfect conditions for cross-country skiing - both tracks are in the valley and the mountains, along the trails are houses where you can eat.

The highest point lies at an altitude trails 1178 m above sea level, which ensures good snow cover from November to May.
