Norway The most important holiday is Constitution Day [17 May], when many Norwegians take to the streets in traditional folk costumes.
Another popular holiday - Midsummer's Eve. It is usually held on 23 July and celebrated the lighting of bonfires on the shore Lappo [Sami]. In Karasjok and Kautokeino preserved the tradition of Easter. Festivals include the races on reindeer dzhoyk (traditional singing), and concerts. Norway keeps a great variety of cultural traditions, and not such an unusual thing to see is a carefully constructed costumes worn at weddings and other festive events. Also very popular traditional folk dances, singing and telling stories (which often appear trolls).
