A population of 10,2 million people, the average population density is among the highest in Europe. The ethnic composition of the population is quite varied. Ethnic groups: Flemish - 55% Walloons - 33%, French, Germans. The territory of Belgium resides about 1 mln.tys. foreigners (Italians, Moroccans, French, Turkish, Dutch, Spaniards and others).
