Climate Saaremaa, Estonia

Because of its position in the eastern part of the Baltic Sea Saaremaa is located in the temperate zone and has a mild maritime climate. The island is rather long warm summers and mild winters, strong winds are the cause of frequent change of weather and heavy rainfall mainly in autumn and winter months.
