Romania Potable water

Tap water is normally chlorinated and relatively safe, but can cause stomach disorders. Is recommended to use only bottled or boiled water. Romania is currently experiencing a shortage of water, so in some areas (especially around Bucharest and other big cities) in the water line served only a few hours a day. In the mountains, the problem is almost not worth it. Drink water from mountain springs safely.
