Tipping of 1-2 pounds are usually given for services to drivers, porters, waiters. The system extends to tip waiters in bars and restaurants, maids in hotels and porters, taxi drivers and guides, and 5-10% of the total cost. Payment tipping is not mandatory, but if the client was satisfied with the service, gratuities - a sign of good taste.
